SUMMARY

Run the Wenchi Lake Trail Ultra-marathon and explore historic Ethiopia on foot as we jog through the ancient Abyssinian landscape

Ethiopia is one of the most ancient civilizations, not only in Africa, but in the world. If you choose the Footprints of History itinerary, you will be stepping in the footsteps of Abyssinian kings and the priests that formed the foundation of Christianity. On this tour, you will see ancient monasteries hewn from solid rock, castles reminiscent of medieval Europe, and highland farmers living a lifestyle that hasn’t changed in hundreds of years.
